Overview
Eat, drink and be merry at the wineries and restaurants of the Hunter Valley, just 2 hours to the north of Sydney! This is the perfect day tour from Sydney - an opportunity to get off the beaten track and see the local countryside, sample the local wines and produce and even see the local wildlife.
Travel in the comfort of our limo equipped Mercedes Tourer, with an expert guide to tell you about Australian wines, regions and history along the way. You'll be travelling as part of a small group (maximum 14 people) allowing us the opportunity to be flexible and customise the tour to you. We have access to many of the small boutique wineries of the region, as well as larger vineyards such as Lindemans, Rosemount and McWilliams.
We start the day with a guided tour of the wine making facilities of a boutique winery followed by an extensive tasting. Then you can visit a wide range of quality wineries, large or small, according to your preferences. Or rely on our expert knowledge and experience to guide you. There are also options for cheese or chocolate tasting, gallery visits and more.
At lunch time, indulge in a 2 course gourmet lunch at an award winning restaurant with your choice of entree, main course and dessert, plus a complementary glass of wine; or take our alternate option of more casual dining at a local cafe. Please select your meal option when booking.
Our Mercedes vehicle has been equipped to make your tour pleasant and safe: full seat belts; top of the range seats with head support; video and onboard television, with a video about Australian wine-making along the way; a bar fridge to keep your wine or cheese purchases cool; and split level air conditioning to keep you cool as well!
Travelling as part of a small group you can share the day with other international travellers and Australian locals. As you know, people, not just places, can make the day.
Personal pick ups from your Sydney accommodation are also part of the service.

This tour departs Sydney and travels to the Hunter Valley and return. We provide courtesy pick ups from most Sydney CBD, Kings Cross and Potts Point accommodation.

Guidelines & Restrictions
Remember to bring your sense of fun and prepare yourself for a day of fun! You will need to be 18 years and over to participate in the wine tasting.
We are a licenced tour operator with over 14 years experience in the tourism industry.

We accept concession cards from: Nomads, YHA, VIP & ISIC card holders, Aust / NZ pensioner cards. You must have your card present to show the guide on your day of travel.

It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.
Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.

"Anyone would LOVE this tour —my girlfriends and I had an amazing time! From pick-up to drop off, everything was coordinated to a tee. From the labels for the wines we purchased to our lunch options. David was really knowledgeable and friendly and the 3 wineries we went to were lovely. At the end of the day we came home full, a bit tipsy and with lots of pictures and lots of wine.
